I recently found hundreds of tiny white critters all over my glass. I believe they are rotifers after examining many pictures of different pods. Is there anything I should know about them? Are they good or bad? Will they continue to reproduce? They are in a sumpless 5.5 gallon with no fish. Any help is appreciated. :D

Yes, they are a good thing and as long as nothing predates on them they will reproduce.

Rotifers are really, really tiny, and will probably appear more black than white. You can barely see them, and it's unlikely that they'd just appear in your tank. I'd agree with ChrisRD that they're much more likely some sort of copepod or amphipod, or possibly baby mysis shrimp. . .or spiroid (someone please correct me, I know that's not quite correct) worms. If they're not moving around, they're the worms, which are harmless filter feeders.
