So i want to get this t5 light fixture for my reptile tank and the the bulbs are 54 watt and 48" long. My question is can i replace one of those bulbs and use a 48" uva/uvb t5 full spectrum reptile bulb thats only 28 watts? Thanks for the help!

I don't really know, but...

I'm guessing that the higher wattage fixture will be feeding extra electricity into your lower wattage bulb creating the potential for serious problems (house fire).

...waiting for someone with electrical knowledge to chime in...

Unless the ballast is designed to drive that lamp, I would suggest you don't mix and match unless you have my in your insurance policy.
