Basic question, point me to another post if you like.

I bot a midsized maroon clown last week, and a nice sized bubble tipped anenome. Both are eating and doing very well.

Any suggestions for getting the clown to "move in?"

Thanks

There are several "compatibility charts" on the interwebs these days but in my (limited) experience, the one here at RDO does a better job than most of the others you're likely to find...

By "maroon clown" I'm guessing you mean premnas biaculeatus..?

If so, you're probably good to go and it will settle in and host in it soon.

Of course, nothing is guaranteed... - Clowns have that nickname for a reason. ;)

Unfortunately, just because you have a clown and an anemone doesn't mean that they will show off their symbiotic relationship. It all depends on the individual clown. It took about 5 or 6 months after I bought my anemone for my clowns to finally start using it. Still, even with the anemone in there, some clowns prefer to use coral, powerheads, even live rock as hosts.
