Live Rocks in NYC ?

Hi

New to this board, learn a lot here. I am planning to start a new 30 gallon tank.

Does anyone know where I can get some good live rocks to cycle the tank. I went to a few shops near my home (brooklyn ) and the rocks don't look too bright. I am assuming there are no live or any kind of hidden treasures in these rocks.

Any LFS in NYC where there are tons of stuff to look at.

Welcome to MR Bud!
Go up to Forums and in the drop down box..go to Regional Reefs..then go to Brooklyn..and open it up. There is a thread in there on LFS in Brooklyn.

or jsut get rocks from people tearing down their tanks or from a vendor :idea:
