I would like some help into adding some changes to my tank. Right now i am having some problems with my 90 gal tank I been having diatom problems and now hair algae problems. I have been doing constant weekly water changes and i have since thing change my feeding problems. But it isn't stopping anything. But I would like to change my set up i would like to add some reactors and all those other gadgets that some of you have(getting tired of constantly checking my tank and no progression). I am not knowledgeable some of the things out there and would like to know what changes or add-ons that i could do? I don't have allot of funds but i got to try to make this work for me minus the fact i am trying to purchase a larger tank bout 180 or bigger to take down some of the extra tanks i have.

Any help will do also thanks in advance

Stripping all the phosphates from your water quickly (which will likely drop your alk as well if it's a GFO based media) is a bad thing. I would pickup a phosban reactor and some phos media, phosban, rowaphos, phosar etc.

You can run it off a maxi jet 400 or 600. If you want to get really fancy buy two reactors and hook one into the other. This way you can run both off of one pump. PLace carbon in the first and phosban in the second as carbon can take more flow than phosban can.

Carbon will remove one type of phosphates while the phosban will remove another. Together it should help out. Please be advised that a cleanup crew likely won't do much for this type of problem. The way to deal with it is to attack the problem not the symptom.
