Is the tank temp still up at 86 ?
Find something in your freezer and SEAL it HEAVILY in some zip lock bags that DON'T leak, and let that float in your tank til it isn't frozen anymore. Also be sure to turn your fan on.
If you have a power head in your tank and the surface of your water isn't moving much, it will help to point it toward the surface so that it almost looks like boiling water. That too will help dispel some of the heat.

It's a good idea to keep a couple/few 16oz bottles of rodi water frozen at all times, so that you can float them when the temp gets too high. Just pop 'em back in your freezer as they thaw & reuse when needed.

You might want to consider a timer for your fan so it will come on in the event you forget again :)

Just do your self a favor. put it in water bottles and put them in the freezer, but dont fill them to the top and i have always kept the cap off the bottle so that there is no chance that it will pop when the water freezes. Then you put the top back on when it is frozen.

I had that problem and I just froxe the ro water and dropped it in the tank like an ice cube in the rear chamber. I found that the nano is kinda small for a large water bottle, but I guess you can get away with it if the cover is left open.

Yup Thirty, you're correct. It doesn't have to be rodi, but just to be on the safe side... in case it does crack.
The 16 oz bottles will work well for the nano. I even use that size in my 120..(doesn't displace too much water and when I take it out my auto top off doesn't go beserk topping off with a bunch of rodi water.)

I have in the past used rodi to just make ice cubes and throw them in a bag and then in the freezer and then just dropped them in my tank. That was with old tank that did have auto top off. And stil would not make that much of a difference.
