need help answering some questions

hi guys i have been asked a questions by could be buyers of overflows i have for sale
can you check my answers and see if im given a good information



im getting new CoraLife 125 Super Skimmer. i was wondering if i can use one of your overflow box with this skimmer.


overflow box and a skimmer - two unrelated pieces of equipment . you can drill your tank, use durso , cut the back panel of your tank to transfer water from your tank to the sump or directly to downdraft skimmer(with no water feed by pump)... in sump skimmers work with the water in your sump and return it back to the sump, from where return pump shoot it back to your tank via return kit

You can use it as a prefilter box for the skimmer if the box is wide enough.

No diagram but I just had a brain fart if you took the half of the box that goes inside the tank and slipped it over the intake pump it could act as a prefilter box like the remora has.

bro overflow IS the prefilter for top coat of the water in your tank... more like prefilter in the remore simulating the overflow in sumpless system

Right I was thinking about using it on a sumpless tank and a hang on skimmer. That's all. Like I said it was a brain fart .

can i use this idea instead of overflow box?

also i have coralife 125 super skimmer with out the pump and the needle wheel.

-can i use different pump for the skimmer? which ones?
-how difference would it make if i use the needle wheel?
