upgrading from 12g to 24g

hi guyz i need some help regarding upgrade from a jbj 12g to aquapod 24g. right now at this moment i have about 2inch of sand bed in my 12g and about 15 to 20lb of LR. here is some questions regarding a upgrade.

1.do i need more LS and LR. (if i do, does it affect anything if i buy LS and LR added inside the tank)

2.buying the new LS. should i just mix wif the OLD LS i have inside the tank??

3.when i am transfering stuff to the 24g, just put everything i have into the new tank and add more water should be okay right?

As far as sand you can just buy the not live sand and seed it with a cup of the live sand from your 12g. As far as live rock I think it is up to you if you think you need more to fill up space, and even then you can by dead rock and in no time it will be seeded from your other rock.
