Hi!!!
So, I have a question about a potential purchase (well, I'm not going to buy it, but I want to run it by you all):

does the pricing on this seem fair: 30 polyp zooanthid colony, + 7 2-3 inch mushroom caps both are generally brownish in color, the price for both is 75$

and then: crocea and a deresa both for 60$

This is from a tank with glass anemones/aipstasia (a REAL problem with it), and algae issues.

I think the prices for the coral are too high considering the general color, quantity of polyps and the fact that they are attached to LR w/ issues.

or am I horribly wrong? There should be a fair pricing guide somewhere...

For the zoas & mushrooms, IMO that is not a good price..especially not knowing if the zoas are anything other than the typical variety and you don't want to move the issues in that tank to yours.
I can't speak to the pricing on the clams.

Thanks for your replies so far!

It's coming from a fellow that is getting rid of his tank after 3 years in.

I'm glad that you two are with me so far. I'm never sure if the prices I see here are what I should expect elsewhere (other than stores).

He didn't make his items seem glamorous either...just cute.

corals

if it's the basic colors no it isnt a good price. to me anyways. whats good to another might not be to you ect. and i wouldnt take any rock from that tank unless they took proper measure to rid of aptasia. dont want you tank infested with it.

before u think of buying clams do u have a system to properly take care of them.lighting.filtration.do u check your calcium for proper parameters.the price isnt bad but if your system cant handle them you will have 60 dollars for maybe good chowder.
