Light Color

What type of bulbs or combination of bulbs do people use to make the light have a purplish color?

Actinic and day bulbs will give you a nice crystal ice white..Actinic by itself will give you a blue tank...

With metal halides only, a 20K or 22K bulb will be very blue/purple.
With T5's, VHO's or PC's an actinic bulb will be viewed as very blue/purple.

Believe it or not, there are even 50K bulbs on the market. I don't know anyone that uses them though.
