crazy glue

hey you guys know the tunze power head well the main power head fell off the magnet can i glue it back to the magnet with crazy glue will that effect the system in anyway???

you could use the crazy glue but use the gel one,that the same glue people use to glue coral on rock

yes,the gel don't have all the toxic then the regular crazy glue but it work the same

how old is the pump? I had a few clips break on my nano stream. Tunze recently redesigned the clips. Contact Roger over at Tunze USA and he'll hook it up.

Krazy glue never really works for that application... especially under water. If the plastic clips the pump came with don't work... the crazy glue is only a temporary fix at best and you'll whind up screwing something else up in the process.

so what you saying he will send me a new one? lol i need to fix this problem. there are 4 little clips coming out the back of the pump to clip it to the magnet... what can i do 2 of them fell of.. how can i contact him and fix this?

I used gel and silicone and mine held fine for 7 months or so. But call and get a replacement. Better safe than sorry. u don;t want that falling off in the middle of the night and going crazy in your tank.

as a temporary fix... I used a big zip tie and fastened the clip around the magnet. Be careful not to scratch the tank but it held fine for me until the replacement clip came from Roger.

crazy glue sucks.......... use Loctite SuperGlue Gel control. Much better.
