i have 150 gal, with 2 overflow. oceanic sump powered by little giant pump. berlin pro skimmer, 4 t12 72" lights (2white 2blue) 100lbs live rock, 50lbs live sand, 3 powerheads.
the whole system was given to me for free, so i guess it's not bad for the price. lol

Hi, and welcome to MR

Nice set up for the price. The lighting may be on the low side for the anenomes which are for the most part considered high light animals.

In order to successfully keep the anemones, you should absolutely upgrade your lighting. MH or T5 lighting would be the advisable next step.

Your skimmer is also a piece of equipment that should be upgraded.
More water flow within the tank (powerheads) will help your anemones flourish.

Since the price was so good ;) spending the money for lighting, a skimmer and powerheads would be a very small fee for entry into this hobby.

spend the money and do what russ suggested. upgrade to a new light system, get a kick a$$ skimmer and the system will be much more reef friendly. keep an eye out in the fs forum for a good deal on skimmers and lights. i personally like metal halides, but your electric bill will go up by adding them.

welcome to MR,

you might be able to keep the lights you have and add some retrofit metal halides to them. once you know what you need check out our for sale forum, prices can't be beat here.
