reefers tend to usually stay away from sea apples because they can poison a whole system. however, they would be fine in their own tank.

My friend had one, it was cool but it always sat right in the front center of the tank LOL blocking his view!

it's always the really cool stuff you need to stay away from...

BTW, they don't have to die or even be sick to poison a tank.

Most of the time they usually just starve to death. They need to be feed brine shrimp and other plankton type food, as they're filter feeders. You can't put them with any fish that will pick at them, especially their tentacles, as they will shoot out their guts into the tank and can poison the tank.
