i have bought from them since they opened up. they have always been honest and have never steered me wrong. There are times when they have actually talked me out of getting something b/c it's not good for my setup or not compatible with the livestock that is in my tank. They are honest and nice people. i find it hard that anyone can bad mouth them like that.

Every business have there own expenses and a price they want to sell their merchandise for... if u feel it's too expensive, then go somewhere else. i do not feel that it's fair or ok to bad mouth a business just because you don't feel that they are chaeap enough for you. just go somewhere else.

it's also how a lfs handles their livestock before they sell it. sure, you might find it cheaper somewhere else. but if the place you get it from do not quarantine their livestock or make sure the fish eats before selling it, then what does good does it do for you even if you save a few dollars? you can loose a entire tank's worth of livestock from just one fish carrying diseases.

Plus, from what i see, it's they give discounts to their regular customers (not just me). i NEVER ask for a discount, but i rarely pay the price they posted. Many times i go there and they know that i am not buying anything, yet they still spend the time to talk to me and answer my questions.

Lets be fair...

how would a denitrifier convert ammonia and nitrites?

The bacteria dumped into the tank every 4 hours ate it up the tank is still running and doing good....That's a question that I'm still puzzled about...I guess it worked like regular good bacteria in a cycled tank works...I still dump bacteria from the reactor into the tank but only once a day...

I think you guys have my words confused I didn't use denitrified water...I used the bacteria build up from inside the denitrifying reactor..Good bacteria....The same stuff that cycles ammonia in the regular system...Once the bacteria is introduced to a no anerobic enviroment, it then changes into regular good bacteria that is then flushed into my system and helps the tanks regular cycle... It's not a super denitrifying bacteria like it was in the reactor because the system water is well oxygenated...
