got my new 2 250w 10,000k mh light running t5 for about 1 year do i just put them on.or turn one on for a day and then the other one i dont want to hurt my sps i cant move them becuase glued down. what would you do?

try raising the lights for a few days then gradually bring them down to where you want them.

I just turned mine on 400watt with lumerac reflector, 180 gallon tank, 6in off the water...Started out with 3 hrs on first day, then 6hrs 3rd day, then on the 12th day 8hrs and stayed at 8 hrs for 2.5 months now....I also think water quality has a big role in any change of the lights in a tank..
