Hi from Boston,
just found this site. I am a member of the BRS Boston Reefers Society.

I have asked in BRS and I am not getting any real answers

I have noticed that several chalices are beginning to recede, Anyone have any suggestions on what could be causing them to recede?

Welcome to MR,

Please post your water parameters and pictures if possible. You will get a lot more help this way!

Probably not the root of your problem, but you didn't post your calcium level. Your magnesium appears low, but the proper number is tied to your calcium level.

Your PH could be a problem, depending on what the daily swing is. 7.8 is low, but not deadly or necessarily problematic depending on how big and which way it swings. (your PH will swing over the course of the day)

I don't know much, but from what I have noticed from my chalice they prefer low light. Mine are doing great in the shadows. Hope that helps.

By the way, nice tank & crib.:afro:
