Im getting a cube with 3 viewable sides. 34 gl solana by current
I was thinking about laying the rock diagonally in the tank. [/](this is my attempt to show what I mean, CADI-corner)
I think this would give me more rock(surface) area, and kind of give me two different reefs(one on each side).
I would have the main return on one side, and powerhead(w/ wave maker) on other side.

Would this cause flow problems.
Can you think of any problems with doing this?

Thanks

If that's what you want then that's what you should do! The only suggestion I will give you is to leave enough room between the rock and the glass to get an algae scraper in between them :)

hey rookie,

is this for a reef tank or FOWLR?

if it's a FOWLR, i can't see anything wrong with the formation.

But if you're planning to make it a reef, just consider the placement of corals as it will probably disrupt the diagonal shape you're trying to create.
