Hello all, I found this website when I saw a post about the frag swap at Pace, which sadly I couldn't go to because of work, but since then I have been visiting this site several times a day when I'm at work, school, and home. I got into this the hobby about 6 months ago and after a rocky start I have grown to love it. I have a 20 gallon reef at the moment and everything is, I'm proud to say doing pretty good. The tank has mainly Ricordea's and SPS but I am planing on getting some small fish for it soon. So it is a pleasure to meet you all and I am hoping to learn more about this wonderful hobby from this great community! --Treef from Queens, NY

Welcome aboard Treef. You will have plenty of time to make up for the missed show at Pace. As you've seen, lots of helpful and courteous reefers make up Manhattan Reefs. It's almost like a frag swap all the time.

My best advice to you would be to read, ask questions, read more and get comfortable with the advice you're given BEFORE going out and buying anything.

Advice is always free, your decision to use it is up to you though.
