I currently have a 125 FOWLR but am having some withdrawls from the lack of color on the rock. I just set up and am contemplating how I can add color to the landscape while having some fish that are not reefsafe (Lemonpeel, niger).

I have VHO (2) 160 lights, use RODI water for changes and topoff, phos reactor, getting a fuge, so my conditions are basically reef ready.

Are there any corals that most fish wont touch?

I only have 2 questionable fish, maybe I should go back to the reef world, keeping easy colorful stuff, shrooms, polyps, etc. (because lighting only vho)

If you add coral to your reef just be sure your water parms, especially your phosphate + and nitrate level are in check.
If you just want to make the rock more colorful keep the alkalinity and calcium elevated.

thanks for info guys. I have been succesful with basic (LPS, zoos, shrooms, softies) reefkeeping in past and water quality (might be challenging because of aggressive fish that might overpollute water).

I also read somewhere that gorgonians as well as some of the other Softies and LPS are very noxious and might not be edible by many fish. Any ne have any hands on knowledge of this
