Hello everyone,

Want to start by saying that is a great site i have learned and benefited greatly from. I was wondering if any one had any suggestions on how/what to feed my anemones? they don?t seem to be eating at all. I have dried frozen shrimp, pellets and little frozen shrimp's.

They hold on to the food for a little then the food either floats away or a crab will come and grab it off the anemone

any help would be appreciated.

How big is it? What kind of frozen shrimp are you feeding them? It seems like you spot feed them, but maybe the food you feed them is too small. Have you tried feeding raw shrimp, like the ones you eat??

I had success with krill. Would use tongs to place chunk of krill(dethawed for about 20-30 secs in tank) directly into tenticles of anemone(it was a sabea)
Make sure you do that after a generl tank feeding, that way the crabs/shrimp are already busy and/or full

Hey rasheed the one I sold you on the live rock loves silver sides. Just feed him half of the fish the head part. Give the other half to the Blue Hippo Tang he also loves silver sides. Good luck and take good care of those tangs. Thanks again for telling me about Wonderful World of Fish. Great store Steve is a real nice guy. Good luck with the tank.
