Refugium lights

Im building my refugium this weekend i was wonder what type of lights run on it (pc or reg bulbs,wattage, spectrum) . The refugium is going to be a 25 gal tank divided into 3 sections that will be running on my 105 gal tank.

Many people who have refugiums, swear by this bulb.

I use that bulb now and it is great. micro algae grows like crazy and no heat after running it for a cycle it is warm to the touch.

I run the same with good growth and good results...

Ya its very cost effective and works,make sure you have the right spectrum,a yellowish light would barely just keep what you have alive and you won't see much growth

How many hours you keep it on?

I like t5's you get the most coralline growth...But that might be to much if you have a small refugium...
