Lighting Question

Hey All Again....

Is it better for me to go with the lighting that came with the Aquapod or should I get the Metal Halide lighting? And, i I do go with the metal halide lighting, do I need an actinic blue light also? Thanks!!

What kind of corals do you plan to keep?

Not sure yet, but I want it to look good....lol. Does that help? haha

You don't need to upgrade the lights if u plan on keeping soft corals only. If you want to keep sps or certain lps u are going to need to upgrade. You may wish to try the lights you currently have and then upgrade after you are more comfortable and experienced in the hobby.
