drilling petland fish tanks?

can you drill a fish tank from petland discount? it an all glass tank.i want to drill throw the side of the tank not not bottom. thanks for any help jeremy

As long as you have the skill, equipment and the pane you want drilled is not tempered.

Yeah you can usually drill the sides of all glass aquariums no problem. The bottoms on any all glass 48"Width or larger are usually tempered. Oh FYI it really doesn't matter where you buy stock tanks from, it's the brand that counts.

yeah you can just make sure you put light pressure and make sure its wet.... becuase if its wet you wont have splitting of glass

the fish tanks from petland are "AGA's" Most of us have AGA's here and most are drilled. So to answer your question if i didnt already is, yes you can.

I think the thing to find out in all types of glass is to figure out if the glass is tempered or not...

its usually the bottom glass that is tempered in AGA's
