Hi i have a perfecto tank with dual overfows.
I really need help with my plumbing i had connected the 2 flows into one pipe and i had alot of flushing noise....now i separated the 2 and the 1 coming from the right side is traveling down and left about the length of the tank and works great but the one on the left is now just straight down vertical and doesnt stop flushing and i guess it has alot of back pressure what should i do?? please help.. i need that one to land right where it is thats my 1st chamber............heres a pic of how it looked b4 i separated.

Cut the pvc so the water falls into the sump. It looks as if you have the pipe into the water that is causing the back pessure and the gargling sound. now if you cut the pvc like I said you will have a new problem of splashing and salt creeps. I would suggest getting two filter socks that mount on the edge of the sump. That would help with that problem.

just a thought. if the straight vertical one is flushing try closing the valve on the other just a bit. this will decrease what comes out of that and might give a constant flow for the other. lmk if this works. like i said JUST A THOUGHT

I think it will be better if you show a picture of the new set up (the one that shows the two overflows as separate units going to the sump), from what i understood in your post, that picture is the old set up that you modified.. unless i am reading it wrong..
