Hello Reefers...

Another question or more of a poll if you will...
What do members think of the Uniquarium? It is similar to the Nano in a way, but they can come in much larger sizes. The idea of acrylic seems nice, as it is lighter and more resistant. Also, having chambers in the back seems to be useful in the Nano and would be here as well. I looking to start a brand new reef tank(at least 75G)once I move to my new condo, which will have tons new room for me to expand my obsession(wait, I mean hobby).I will new reef tank question later despite the fact that I have had my nano for two years, but that is later. I am currently looking and researching tanks, lighting and protein skimmers. Any advice is always welcome.

Thanks.

I like glass, black silicone trim & seperate, pieced together systems. I have yet to see a system that comes with everything you will need & want in a box. But if it did, that would be boring...to me at least. :) I like the chase (see avatar caption)

There was a good thread on all in one systems, which is pretty much your uniquarium, here on the boards. Forgot who started it but it would open a few doors to you. Its pretty much a larger tank with a part sectioned off to act as a sump/fuge and there are some designs for them there.

Also it doesn't have to be acrylic, although alot of people get them in acrylic because its that much easier to get them custom made locally. IMo i wouldn't do acrylic unless you can deal with alot of scratches a year from now, its going to happen even to the most careful of people.
