Salinity Question

my specific gravity is 1.025 i'm gonna do my water change friday now here's the question in order to maintain that gravity do i add the same amout of salt in my 5gal bucket or do i calulate how much should go in the bucket

I may be wrong but do 2 cups for every 5 gallons.Others may chime in.

the salinity that is going out should be going in so as previously stated up above ...

for 5 gallon bucket would be 2 full measuring cups and 1/2... i usually add a little more just to play it safe ..

I believe I use about 2 1/2 cups salt per 5 gallons also. Mix it a little early so you can add more salt to get 1.025. Let mix for 24 hours and be sure to check salinity before using.
