Guys help me out here, what do you think about running a UV sterilizer as well as the phos reactor? This is simply about the UV seems like it could kill 2 birds with one stone if done right (phos than UV = crystal clear water )

Check out this new item i found, would this work, or be worth investing in?

Also What about the Turbo Twist and can i if its possible run it in line with the phos reactor?

Thanks ....

Hey Chris...sorry I let this get by without a reply!
Yes, you could go either way. For an algae bloom like yours this would definitely knock it down. And yes, you could run it in line with the phosban reactor as both prefer low flow.
Is the turbo twist from your pond? It's overkill for your tank but you could do it until the bloom is in check (as long as the bulbs is still good..make sure you clean the internal glass sleeve VERY well) and then I'd take it off line or you won't have much bacteria at all left in the tank and will be in a continous cycling process.

Chris, you may also be interested in the Aqua Ultraviolet Brand. Their a bit more expensive but some of their models are available with a Cleaning Mechanism that you can actually wipe the water side of the Ultraviolet Sleeve. I went with this model and love it.
