Hi MF, I have multiple tanks set up under 1 filtration system (wet/dry) to minimize maintenance & to give me more options to keep several livestock, that wouldn't be able to be housed together but can now be viewed side by side............So my question is do I treat these tanks seperately (iodine, calcium, reef blend etc) or can I expect to treat my one tank, assuming all tanks are sharing one water source. I have a 29 (FOWLR) & 15 (Reef) & I have a 10 that I havent setup, but wanted to use as a refugium, I know they are normally kept below, or as hang ons but is there anyway you can have it setup as a display but also as a true beneficial refugium/ Thanks for your comments!

The wetdry would not be good for the reef. And since they will be sharing the same water source whatever happens in one of the tanks will happen in the other. I.E. if you dose for one the other tank's parameters will also change. or a crash in one will crash the other.

I have a wet/dry sump w/ an Pro Clr Skimmer using live rock and thats wahat I was pretty much going for, so maintenance should be done in only 1 tank, right, and was thinking about setting upp a fuge above my display & house something thats eye appeasing rather than setups that are hidden
