Killing Aptasia

Ok so i read somewhere :shh: that one way to kill aptasia is by taking out the LR and boiling it for 30 mintues. Has anyone tried this? I had this one dead coral and it have around 5 heads of aptasia and no corals on it so i decided to take it out and throw it in a pot of water and let the suckers boil.

Oh there is nothing on the rock its coral free. Maybe some other organisms but... i guess its dead by now.

i gave up on the aiptasia .... i tried a whole lot and its definitely not worth all of the trouble cause i think its impossible to rid them without a predator like a fish to devour them all.

If you don't have too many kill them by injecting with lemon juice.

I've been using the Joe's Juice and it works great... but you HAVE to get it right on the mouth..... they shrivel right up. Just be careful. Turn the powerheads off while you do it. My torch didn't care much for it blowing around the tank.

Its fine to boil if you want dead rock.
