i had a lime green dwarf feather duster since like mid jan..... and it was literally my favorite thing and today i found the worm half out of the duster tube and i put it in my fuge and i currently found out its dead......

why do people apologize for losses, particularly for something that most people have no idea of how to properly care for. I would rather see people challanging people to figure out why the Feather Duster died, since Jan. is not a long time probably starved to death

I don't think that dusters are that difficult to care for if you have an established tank. I have had my giant featherduster for a year and a half now. It shed its crown once (right after I moved tanks) but it grew back just fine. I got my duster when my tank was brand new, but I supplemented my tank with phyto and zooplankton for several months after that because they are filter feeders. Understanding the requirements of the animal is fundamental.
