I have a 50 & 20l long plumbed together to a sump, which holds my skimmer, phos React, & 2 return pumps, bringing the water back into both of my tanks respectively. Now I also have an old AGA MEGAFLOW WET/DRY SUMP just laying around, so I figured since I had room under the 20 gallon cabinet, I would convert it into a "fuge", So from left to right, its setup w/ a drain that goes into a bubble chamber, than to the drip tray, than a partition, sponge (bubble diffuser) and than the last area is the return chamber!!!!
I am thinking I can split the drain hose to my sump & fuge, add a pump where the bio balls were (under the drip tray), would that work, (That way there is some distance between the sand & the pump), would that work?.......but than where do I return the water, into which display or should the return go into my sump!
