shrimp molting

my cleaner shrimp molted yesterday. do i need to take out the molt exoskelatan or can i leave it in?? thanks for hte response.

My cleaner shrimp molted sometime between last night and this morning. I left the exoskeleton in there for the nassarius snails to munch on. It seems that they will eat the entire thing except for the tail portion.

I leave all skeletons in the tank.....it will eventually break down and add to the tank....

Leave them alone in the tank, they become yummy snacks even for what you may think would be the most unlikely of candidates...

And that is just a molt, I did a tank check just to make sure... I've been fooled by molts in the past before :lol:

i cant believe you have a heinekin bottle in your tank LOL thats CLASSIC.

my peppermint shrimp molted and the thing just breaks down or gets eaten really quick. i agree with everyone on here.

Yea, I left the label on, against the advice of others... but soon it will be covered in coralline anyways.. see the speck in the white on the label:lol:
