I introudced new LR into my tank recently and noticed small colonies of Aiptasia growing in random areas, this is my first experience with this and was wondering if there are there any livestock that would control these anenomes without doing harm or do I have any other options........?

lye and peppermint shrimps

just had a huge outbreak in my tank and solved it quickly and easily. put it in an isolation tank with a peppermint shrimp and it did nt feed the tank. the shrimp ate all the small ones. then did the lye treatment on the big ones worked great and killed nothing else, except for bristle worms. steve
