banded shrimp eating small fish??

i jsut added 3 small damsels (less than 1") with a banded shrimp ( about 3") in a tank. however, fish are missing 1 at at time..and i'm down to 1 damsel, and it's already missing a pectoral fin. is it possible that banded shrimp be attacking those lil fish and killing them? help please. thanks.

my cb shrimp ate a few of my smaller fish and cleaner shrimp. i have seen mine catch a small chromis drag him to the back of the tank and never seen that fish again. it was actually pretty kool watching him do it .....

i got rid of mine cause he would sit on this bridge i made in my tank and try and jump at the passing fish and other shrimp.

My fire fish is missing in action and i think its the cb shrimp, i think he also killed my nemo and my mandarin.

They do eat fish; I had one eat one Clown and a Purple Fire Fish in two weeks until I caught the little bastard.....

HMMM, this would explain a cpl disapearing fish, and almost always the smallest ones

Yep they can behave this way if they are hungry enough, otherwise they won't. Target feed the shrimp and the problem will go away.

One can only hope that the tying/chopping off the claws (cutting them off doing no good anyway because they'd grow back)thing was a joke, because frankly, I didn't laugh.
