aragonite plugs vs. ceramic plugs

umm i'm pretty sure people like aragonite because when the coral grows it can pull stuff like calcium nutrients from it making the frag grow faster.

i've never heard about this before.

I have heard that aragonite plugs need to be soaked/cured for a while and the ceramic plugs are just rinse and glue.

I much prefer the ceramic disk or plug because as Wes stated, they do not need to be cured and they do not crumble over time. (ever try to pull off an aragonite disk or plug that has been glued to a rock for some time, you'll end up with 2 pieces 5 out of 10 times)
The ceramic stuff is much sturdier but also more expensive.
