Remora Pro Protein Skimmer question

just got a Aqua C Remora Pro Protein Skimmer with a mag 3 and little bit of water comes out and and doesnt seem to work cuz it has been on for like 3 hours and doesnt skim anything but when i plug in my urchin skimmer it skims right away. is anything wrong with the skimmer or do i need to break it in?

give it a week then it'll be broken in. same thing happend with my prizim and my Odyssea skimmer.

Mine took some time to start skimming and now it pulls out a nice thick layer of brown slime and some nice brown water every week.
