Sunpod 150W

I bought a sunpod 70w for my 24g nano. When I got the light in the mail they sent me a 150w The light is crazy bright I think to much for the nano and the 14K washes out the color. Can I replace the bulb with a 70W or would that blow my bulb. I cant get a hold of the company to replace my light. The fixture is awsome just to bright.

I think you should be fine with the 150. Current USA actually sells their 24g Aquapod with the 150w Sunpod option. If the color seems a little washed out, you could try a different brand of bulb that has more blue in it.

you're fine with a 150 on a 24. change the bulb if you want.

i used a 250w mh on my 24g ap as well as chief does also

Be happy they sent you a 150. The 70w sucks. If your are using the powerpaq bulb that comes with the fixture, change it out for a phoenix 14k. Your colors will look much better.

It depends on what you want to keep in the nano!

150 was ok, the 250 is nice. The 70 is not worth it. The stock bulb that comes with it get rid of and get the phoenix bulb you won't be disappointed.
