Help w/ Lifereef system

Hello,

Has anyone used the Lifereef CLF1 Compact Berlin System?
I bought it used but I am a little unsure how to set it up.
Does it work well?

I have a lifereef sump and love it.....gave Jeff some custom stuff to buid for me and did a phenomenal job....Dont know about the compact unit....email jeff at lifereef he is a very nice guy and will help you. If you have a problem finding his number pm me.

I have a sump and skimmer from Life reef. The sump will be for sale soon, it will handle 300g tank.They have peformed flawlessly

Yes that is the lifereef system I have.
Do you use three pumps?
It seams like it would add a lot of heat into the system. I was thinking of using an external pump.
One pump is for pumping through the media containers I believe. What media do you guys use?
How are your tanks set up? Deep sand bed?
