building a frag stand, is phenoseal ok to use in a reef??

im putting together a frag stand , can i use phenoseal vinyl caulk to help hold it together? is it reef safe ?

are you trying to build a frag rack?....just use some egg crate and zip ties...

i have some 1/4inch thick plastic that i drilled the top out to hold the frags and drilled the sides to fit suction cups to hold it up on the tank wall. i was going to use the phenoseal to caulk it together?

mildew resistent caulks tend to not be reef safe. try zipties or use aquarium caulk.

Caulk is meant to be used with acrylic. Use caulk with glass. Use weldon with acrylic.

Mildewcides and algaecides are NOT reef safe. No question about it.
