Cleaning Coraline & Deposits of Equipment

I bought a used setup and wanted to clean some of the deposits and coraline off of some of the PVC. Is there an easy way to accomplish this? Ie leaving the pvc in a solution overnight?

most use vinegar - I use muriatic acid - it is instantaneous.

ditto on the vinegar but will still need to use some "elbow grease" to clean it up.

I soak everything in vinegar...Works great....Not as quick as muiriatic acid but still does the trick.

I use muriatic acid also. Works great but be careful of the fumes when it hits any water.
