if theres anyone on the north shore (miller place, rocky point, port jeff), thats willing to help out a fellow beginner, im having lots of trouble with new set up, cant stop the microbubbles from going into tank, lots of them, im in miller place in need of help, thanks

I'm on the North Shore but no free time for the next few weeks. If its a new setup, check that the plumbing is all properly sealed. Then check that your pump is not sucking in air, which would be caused by the water level being close to or lower than the intake chamber of your return pump. Another thing that might cause it is your sump ( I'm assuming your using one but you havent provided details ) might have the baffles set up in such a way that the bubbles upstream from the pump are not getting removed. New plumbing often spews microbubbles until the piping starts to get coated with algae and bacterial slime.

I plan on being out in that direction next week, but during the day time - do you have any availability then?

Might also help if you post a pic of your entire system and tell us where you first see the micro bubbles.

thank you both, i'll try everything possible to see if i can get it to work correctly, thanks for the help, its a 92 corner tank, set up for about 1 1/2 now, can wait to get it 100%, my number its 631-255-6961, name's malcolm, thank you
