Here's the take on it from us, a vendors perspective. We can get all Jungle products from our wholesale warehouse (as well as a TON of other 'aquarium' products). The prices we'd get are VERY low and the profit margins very high. As a responsible vendor (as almost all the other vendors on MR appear to be) we elect NOT to carry any of that line of products. Can we? Absolutely. Do we? No way.
We try to carry what we consider, and the rest of the reefing community considers, quality, upscale reefkeeping equipment.
Believe me, I know this is not a scientific answer. It is an answer that tries to project to you that it's NOT all about the dollar. I can guaranty to you that our profit margins are a LOT higher on the Jungle line than Salifert. We believe in quality.....like I said, as do almost all the other fine MR vendors.
