Sounds like a good deal because i would get a JBJ K-2 hqi anyway but the tank and built in filter is cheap and i wanted to know if anyone had a comment on this or can give me any info on it, thanx...

yea thats what it looks like... i dunno brandon im having a hard time with this nano, i mean i have the knowledge and the money for it but i dont want to drop alot of cash into it and then have my school tell me i cant have it in my room, i know that the best thing for me to do would be to wait until may when i graduate and get my own place and set up a bigger tank but i got the itch something awful rite now :lol: maybe i should just go with the 3g pico until i get my own place and can do everything legit

They make an 8g biocube as well. You could always call school and ask them their policy as well.

their policy is if it stays in water its allowed, no specifics on the actual size, i just dont want them to say that the MH is a fire hazard and confiscate the tank

Then get a PC stock hood and go from there. No need to get everything all at once. I am sure there are t5 retro fits on nano customs, also try nano-reefs.
