Small Leak On Top of Tank

I was cleaning the glass today and notice there is a trickle of water that leaks when I clean that particular area of the tank on top. Should I use aquarium sealant to stop the leak or is there a better way to fix this issue?

Either empty the tank and silicone it properly........or, replace the tank.

+1 Small leaks turn into big leaks quickly and then there are the HELP ME MY TANK EXPLODED threas that follow. Not good!
