question ab sumps/ refugiums

I've been wanting to put a refugium in my 20g long sump, the problem is it has no divisions. Can i still put one in despite not having the divisions? any good ideas would be helpful i will attach pics of the sump and tank so you guys have an idea of what im working with. Tank has been established for approx 2 1/2 years so im skeptical about tampering with the sump and filter

The divisions keep stuff from getting suck up by the pump. Nice looking tank BTW.

Your tank looks amazing. Is that all the equipment you have in your sump? No protein skimmer or CA reactor?

Thanks for the comment! Yea thats pretty much it, use a phosban reactor from time to time and a crappy red sea prizm protein skimmer thats why i would like to add a refugium some how.

i think it would be easier to add a hang on the back refugium, than putting partitions in that sump. it would mean breaking it down and drying/cleaning it and then gluing in partitions.
i did see some sort of rubber gaskets that you would line the partition with and then just slide it in place, and pressure would hold it tight, however, i still believe you'd have to atleast clean and scrape the glass before using this method (plus, you'll have to find it because i just tried to google it and came up empty handed).

you can build a fuge/cryptic section with some eggcrates and tie wraps..
