Selling this hob refuge/skimmer for $150. I have the original rio pump that comes with it but i made some upgrades that really makes the skimmer work overtime.
The rio pump adds both air and water which makes it work too hard. I added a mazi jet 900 to add more water flow and allow the pump to concentrate on moving water not chopping air. Then i added a limewood air diffuser (1 used 2 brand new) and a big quiet air pump i bought from amazon. This creates much more micro bubbles and the maxi 900 pushes more water.
This unit comes with power compact light.
