75g reef ready breakdown

I'm new to this forum, but I want to sell my tank as I don't have much time to take care of it. Here is what is for sale:


-1 75 reef ready tank with starphire glass with corner built in overflow in corner with 3/4'' and 1'' bulkhead openings in the bottom, with pink fiji sand
-1 custom built stand with 3 doors
-1 reef octopus nw-150 protein skimmer
-1 25 watt aqua uv sterilizer but the bulb needs to be replaced.
-eihem 1262 pump
-2 vortech mp40 with controller
-1 custom king sump ~ 25 gallons, has compartments for filter sock, sand bed, and return pump
-2 aqua illumination sol blue with leds.
-1 arctica 1/4'' hp chiller



Livestock
25 lbs brs dry rock uncured-50
40lbs brs dry rock cured with coralline algae all over it-150
1 tomato clown med size-20
1 mandarin goby small size eats pods, and frozen food,will include food too -25
1 cleaner shrimp
1 galaxea that migrated on this piece of live rock covered in coralline-35
2 stalks of xenia-20
1 frag of blue clove polyps-15
1 huge cleanup crew, with snails, crab, etc. 20

Take it all for 1700-Willing to part out after rock and livestock is sold. I'm not sure how to post pics, but pm me and I will send them to you via text message.
Located in manhattan for pickup only and no delivery.

$1700 will be long and hard to come by despite the original purchase price.

Friendly advice, part it out, list each item with price and post pictures, learn to use the posting box, look for the paperclip attachement function thingy.

Some of your equipment will sell quickly but dont price it at 80% of your purchase price.

live stock price it at half price and it will all sell.

Equipment based on age and brand. Vortech's you will get good money for them but if you paid say $500 and want $450 it could be a long while if you even get anyone interested.

This hobby has terrible terrible resale value but if you part out you will def get over $1k for what you have.

+1 - i do think you put a fair price out for consideration, but will get rid of quicker if part out. you can easily sell both mp's and the ai sols with no prob. rock always seems to sell quickly as well good luck

This is still for sale. I have several interests for the mp40 and the sols, but I'd like to get rid of the tank and livestock first.

If I were you I would put a price for the tank, stand and sump as a package and sell the other stuff individually if nobody takes the package deal.

this is a very fair deal, I was first in line but the wife put the qabosh on it. :argue: just the leds and mp 40's r prob worth that price. good luck on both sides there.

Great price! for the AI's and mp40s u can get $1400 easy, if I had the time for it I woulda scooped up the whole setup, definitely worth it
