Let's trade tanks!

I want to switch from a 14gal biocube to something bigger, not for easier maintenance but for stocking purposes lol.

Maintenance for the biocube is already pretty simple I think so if you decide to go into it, all you really need is some diligence. This is what I do:
weekly water changes, top off, replace filter floss every few days.

And of course everything is cheaper, but the bad thing is you only have so much room to play with =/

Not trying to be a prune but out of curiousity, how much easier is maintenance for a bigger tank supposed to be?

does it have anything to do with dec 21st 2012......i noticed alot of people getting rid of their tanks and fleeing the country...or the fact that china may pull outta the bank system then were all..........:bunnies:

i would say definitely stick with a bigger tank also. the more water volume the better. and i think skene meant its more room for error not less.

So are the items no longer for sale?

truthfully, i just paid a professional to come in and setup my tank perfectly from the start. I would of had a hard time doing it right myself with zero experience. I now do the full maintenance. My tank is 5 months old and just now i feel like i'm in control...it takes time.

I was is the same boat a week ago. I was putting together the same system and thought about giving up. I was about $2,700 in the hole. Im glad I didnt give up. It is a big accomplishment when you get your sytem up and running. I live in Elmhurst Queens if you would like to see my set up send me a PM and I will send mt address.

jsanfilippo5, stick with jimmy....he'll steer you on the right track. be patient, part of the fun is also learning to master the set up.

I live in Farmingdale. I am still fairly new at this myself. My tank is up and running for a little over a year. I'd be happy to come by and help you out. I have a RO so if you need water let me know. I have a 44 gallon reservoir you can borrow if need be as well.. Let me know I am right off Boundary Avenue and I am available this weekend.
