i'm very interested in the doser package you are posting but reading the subsequent posts, I would suggest you KEEP the doser.
Stock your tank as you would like and evaluate the need of your tank. I would guess that if you stock the tank with several pieces whether it be SPS or LPS the demand for the Calc, Alk and Mag will increase over time. Having the doser on hand will help ease the chore of that maintenance.
Good Luck with the Sale or no sale for that matter:theyareon
yea..i hate dosing manually...but its not a problem if its periodic...my main concern is not overdosing my cal+alk if i were to run this doser at 10-15ml each cal+alk in a 24 hour mode that would be like 1ml every 3 hours...and what really sucks is would it be waste of time and cal+alk...and owning a $320 doser for good measures....maybe like you said in time when tank has alot more corals lps and that...thanks for chiming in though much appreciated
I know what you are saying. . . have you considered diluting the 2 part solution. I have read people doing this with no ill affects. just make sure you don't dilute it so much that it messes up your salinity.
Here is an example: If you are using the ESV solutions, you can split the one gallon solutions into 2 (add another 1 gallon of RO/DI water to the original solution). So if you were dosing 15mL of undiluted solution, you can now dose 30mL since the liquid is half as potent.
i hear ya ..i have the regular solution....anyway whats the sense in that...ive just discoverd i have whats called polyp bailout...its happening with all my lps...holly crap....NOW WHAT???
