5"-6" Achilles Tang

Up for sale is an Achilles Tang I have had in my 300g for over a year now (was initially about 3" when I got him). He's currently sitting in QT (he's been in there a little bit of copper for over 3 weeks now). He needs to go in a 210g or bigger. He eats anything I throw in the tank including pellets. I'm asking $200 firm for him.

If I already did not have one I will be all over this one. Tough to find a achilles that eats pellets and/or has been in captivity for a year.

I had mine for a year and was doing great but then he got real skinny and died over a couple of weeks. Wasn't eating pellets and my foxface was hogging all the seaweed and flakes. I was trying to feed more often and more seaweed. My favorite most beautiful fish.

$200 is more than fair price for Achilles that's been around eating well.

wow.... that is a very good price. my buddy just picked one up for a lot more than that and he's taking a chance of qt'ing and getting it to eat.

Thanks guys! The problem is adding fish in after he's been established. Basically, it needs to be the last tang in your set-up unless you have a 400g plus system.

Yea true.. I did just add two tangs, but he is now leaving them alone..

If you get an achillies, I Have never had a problem getting them to eat nori first.. They learn to eat the other stuff after they copy off of their tank mates

I only had him with an XL Valimingi, an XL Chevron, a pair of clowns, and a L Black Tang (which he stressed out and died even after I put him in QT); I had added the Black Tang after he was already in the tank. The issue I had was mainly with tangs.
